I’m a multimedia journalist and editor passionate about combining text with photography and videography to tell stories from a unique perspective.
My work has been featured by The Economist, Foreign Policy, Quartz, VICE and many others. I started working as a photographer on conflict and human rights issues while interning and copy editing at a small newspaper in Sana’a, Yemen in 2012.
In 2015, I served as Editor in Chief of a small energy newspaper in Cairo, Egypt, while continuing to report on political and economic issues in Egypt and Libya.
Currently, I’m pursuing a J.D. from the University of Arkansas School of Law, class of 2020.
